Odisha CM Approves 62 Posts For Spl Wing To Probe Crime Against Women & Children

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday approved 62 posts for the special cell to deal with crimes against women and children in Odisha.

According to a release by the Chief Minster’s Office (CMO), Naveen has approved 60 different posts for the Special Branch and two special posts for the appointment of a cyber forensic expert and an IT expert.

The special wing to be headed by a senior officer of the IG rank will have 2 Additional SPs, 10 DSPs, 4 inspectors, 10 sub-inspectors, 8 ASIs and 14 constables.

Apart from this, 5 ministerial staff posts have been approved for the Special Wing.
