CM Lays Stone Of Cancer Hosp, Dedicates Projects In Jharsuguda
Jharsuguda: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik laid foundation stones and dedicated various projects worth Rs 618.66 crore during his visit to Jharsuguda on Thursday.
The Chief Minister reached Surendra Sai Airport here at 12 pm and went to a site near District Sub-Jail, where he laid the foundation stone of Cancer Care Hospital to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 145 crore. He also inaugurated six lift irrigation projects of Malda-III, K. Kantapali-II for Jharsuguda Sadar and Lakhanpur blocks built at an estimated cost of Rs 32 lakh and as many 2 X 5 MVA 33/11 KV Grid Stations worth Rs 13 crore, meant for Durlaga and Arda.
The other upcoming projects:
1. Four mega water supply projects for Jharsuguda Sadar, Kolabira, Kirmira and Laikera blocks to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 388 crore.
4. A railway overbridge at Choukipada (estimated project cost Rs 35.62 crore)
5. Diagnostic Centre to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 15 crore
6. Minor irrigation project at Amati to be built at an estimated cost of Rs 18.22 crore.
Besides, the Chief Minister also distributed Rs 1 crore digital empowerment incentive among 3,489 women self-help groups (SHGs), social security benefits to 30 beneficiaries, assistance to 1,422 Nirman Shramik and land pattas to 1,002 landless.
He also addressed a gathering at Amlipali Ground during his visit.
