The projects are expected to generate opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled workers, particularly young people, while supporting local livelihoods.

The programme also featured roundtable discussions and one-to-one interactions with industry representatives. The sessions will focus on reviewing project implementation, addressing investor concerns and exploring the scope for further industrial development in Odisha.

Officials said the government’s focus extended beyond attracting investments to ensuring that they translated into projects on the ground, employment opportunities and improved livelihoods.

Through continued engagement with investors and effective project facilitation, the government is working to strengthen Odisha’s industrial ecosystem and ensure that the benefits of economic growth reach people, they said

The government is working to facilitate projects, address investor requirements and improve coordination so that investments contribute to industrial capacity, employment and local economic development, he added.

The launch of the new projects is expected to reinforce Odisha’s efforts to diversify its industrial base and attract investments across multiple sectors. The state government aims to ensure that industrial expansion supports employment generation, strengthens local enterprises and contributes to its vision of Samruddha Odisha by 2036, officials added.
