Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Okays Gastroenterology Dept At MKCG Berhampur

Berhampur: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday approved the opening of a Gastroenterology department at Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati (MKCG) Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

The Chief Minister also approved 19 academic and non-academic posts for both surgical and medical gastroenterology.

After opening of two super-specialty departments in MKCG Medical College and Hospital, all the people of South Odisha will be benefitted, Naveen said.

MKCG Medical College is very popular as a leading medical institutions in southern Odisha. It plays an important role in providing quality treatment to the people of the region.
