Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi joined a motorcycle rally as part of the ‘Parakram Shobhayatra’ in a tribute to the Indian armed forces following the success of Operation Sindoor against Pakistan.
The rally was flagged off by the CM at Kalinga Stadium and proceeded through the city, with Majhi riding pillion on a motorcycle driven by Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj.
“Joined the Tiranga Shobhayatra to salute our soldiers’ bravery in ‘Operation Sinbdoor’ against terrorism. The huge participation showcases every Indian’s patriotism and admiration for our armed forces, boosting our soldiers’ morale with this unity and national pride,” the CM posted on X
Apart from Majhi, Deputy CMs K V Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, state BJP president Manmohal Samal along with other ministers, school and college students, NCC cadets, scouts and guides, CRPF personnel, local police, traffic police and city denizens participated in the ‘Tiranga Shobha Yatra’.
Notably, the BJP is spearheading a 11-day long ‘Tiranga Yatra’ across the country, beginning Tuesday, as part of its outreach effort to honour the valour of Indian soldiers, inform citizens about Operation Sindoor’s recent success and the government’s decisive response to Pakistan.
