Odisha CM To Discuss Migrants With Karnataka Today

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will hold discussions with his Karnataka counterpart about return of migrants stranded in the southern Indian state at 10.30 am on Saturday.

The discuss will be done through video conferencing.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will remain present, official sources said.

Naveen had earlier held similar discussions to ensure safe return of Odisha natives stranded in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.

With the Centre allowing migrant workers, students and pilgrims to return to their home states by road/rail amid the nationwide lockdown, the Odisha government on Friday had issued an order and a SOP for their smooth movement across borders.
