Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will visit Surat on December 17 to meet the non-resident Odias.
Notably, a delegation of the non-resident Odias in Surat had met the Chief Minister in Bhubaneswar and invited him to visit the city.
Keeping their request, the Chief Minister had sent a delegation led by Finance minister Sashi Bhusan Behera to Surat. Naveen had also assured the non-resident Odias that he would visit them in their city.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister had also informed them that he had requested the Centre to launch a direct flight and train service from Bhubaneswar to Surat.
