Bhubaneswar: The COVID toll touched 4,861 on Thursday with the Health Department confirming the death of 66 more patients due to the deadly disease after completion of the audit process.

Khurda reported the highest 21 fatalities followed by 10 each from Bargarh and Sundargarh, eight from Balasore, seven from Sambalpur, two each from Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj and one each from Bolangir, Cuttack, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi and Puri.

1.A 81 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

2.A 52 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

3.A 58 years old Female of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

4.A 52 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

5.A 33 years old Female of Balasore District.

6.A 50 years old Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

7.A 55 years old Male of Balasore District.

8.A 40 years old Male of Balasore District.

9.A 65 years old Male of Bargarh District.

10.A 45 years old Male of Bargarh District who was also suffering from Thrombocytopenia.
