Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance officials on Tuesday launched simultaneous searches on the properties of Trinath Mishra, Additional SP (Communication), Tulasipur, Cuttack, in a Disproportionate Assets (DA) case, according to reports.
Searches in Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Jajpur, among other places, unearthed several expensive vehicles with fancy registration plates ending with ‘0005’.

* Hyundai Creta worth Rs 17 lakh (OD-05X-0005)
* Maruti Baleno (OD-05R-9005)
* Chevrolet Trailblazer LTZ (OD-05S-0005)
* GTR 250 Hyosung bike worth Rs.5.3 lakh (OD-05M-0005)
* Royal Enfield Classic 500 ABS worth Rs 1.75 lakh (OD-05AX-0005)
* Triumph Rocket 3 R worth Rs 20 lakh (OD-05AZ-0005)
Documents and evidence indicating the involvement of Mishra and his family members in the following businesses have been unearthed so far:
* Shantilata Care (nursing home) and Shanti Drug House, both at Chandikhole, Jajpur. Both are licensed in the name of Mishra’s wife. Valuation of high-end medical instruments at Shantilata Care under way.
* Shantilata Transport; offices located at Chandikhole and Dhanmandal, Jajpur, in the name of his wife.
* Pharmaceutical business at Mahanadi Vihar, Cuttack, in the name of his two unmarried sons.
* A 3-BHK flat at Marorama Estate, Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar.
* Farmhouse at Badachana, Jajpur.
* Three plots in Bhubaneswar and Jajpur.
* About Rs 3.5 lakh in cash.
