Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha crossed 300 after two days on Sunday as 318 more people, including 58 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 208 new cases on Saturday, 170 on Friday and 351 on Thursday.
According to the I & PR department, 186 of the new infections are from quarantine and 132 local contacts. Khurda district registered the highest 139 cases, followed by Cuttack (31) and Sambalpur (21). Six districts reported nil cases.

Besides, 31 are from the state pool.
With these cases detected from 62,842 samples, the test positivity rate stood at 0.50 per cent. The TPR was 0.40 per cent on Saturday and 0.30 on Friday.
While the COVID-19 tally has touched 10,43,469, Odisha now has 3,209 active cases.
