Bhubaneswar: The central government on Saturday cleared the name of SL Tripathy for appointment to the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), United India Insurance Company Limited (UIICL).
He will hold the office from the date of assumption of charge and up to the date of his attaining the age of superannuation ((29.02.2024).
Born on February 2, 1964, Tripathy is currently working as General Manager & Director with the New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL).
An alumnus of Aeronautics DAV High School, HAL Sunabeda in Odisha, he has worked with General Insurance Corporation of India as Deputy GM and CIO as well.
