They were applauded for their quick thinking and proactive actions that ensured smooth and safe operation of trains under their watch, ECoR said in a press release on Monday.

Their timely actions and proactive approach averted possible operational hindrances and upheld the safety standards of the railway network.

While presenting the awards, Funkwal commended their commitment and the critical role played by railway personnel working in the field. “Our frontline staff — including Track, signal & OHE Maintainers, Loco Pilots, Technicians, and Station Managers — are the backbone of our daily operations. Their vigilance and dedication are what keep our network running efficiently and safely,” he stated.

ECoR continues to foster a culture of safety and operational excellence, recognising exceptional individuals for their commitment in public service.
