Bhubaneswar: In an effort to accommodate increased passenger demand during Independence Day, East Coast Railway (ECoR) will run special trains between Shalimar in West Bengal and Malatipatpur in Odisha for passenger convenience:
Train No. 08037/08038 Shalimar-Malatipatpur-Shalimar Special.
– – From Shalimar: Departs at 9.20 pm on August 14, 2025.
– – From Malatipatpur: Departs at 7.40 pm hrs on August 15, 2025.
Stoppages (Both Directions): Santragachi , Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road.
These Independence Day specials are arranged to ensure smooth travel for passengers traveling around the holiday, offering convenient timings and key stopovers on the route between Shalimar (Kolkata area) and Malatipatpur (near Puri).
