Bhubaneswar: KIIT, KISS and KIMS founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta was conferred with honorary degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc) at JECRC University in Jaipur on Saturday during its 9th annual convocation ceremony.
JECRC University chairperson O P Agrawal presented the honorary doctorate to Dr Samanta in the presence of several eminent personalities.
Samanta, who delivered his address as the chief guest of the convocation ceremony, expressed his gratitude to JECRC University.
JECRC University’s recognition of Samanta’s tireless work in the fields of education, social transformation and humanitarian service marks the 70th honorary doctorate awarded to him not only by Indian universities but those from across the globe.
