Bhubaneswar: Cy Goddard has joined Odisha FC on a one-year deal as the club’s Asian signing for the upcoming season.
Born in London to an English father and Japanese mother, Goddard has represented Japan at the U-16 and U-17 levels.

Goddard, who last year joined USL Championship side Detroit City, has signed a one-year contract with the Bhubaneswar-based club.
The 26-year-old winger, who went to Tottenham Hotspur Academy in his early years, has had a one-year stint in ISL, with Mumbai City FC.
Ironically, he scored his first professional goal in a 6-1 win over Odisha FC during the 2020-21 ISL season.
