Bhubaneswar: Two CBI officials reached Anjana Mishra’s house on Friday as part of the investigation into the gang-rape case.
According to sources, the CBI team was at Mishra’s house for 30 minutes during which they asked her about the fateful night.
A charge sheet in the case will be submitted soon, the sources added.
Notably, the Commissionerate Police arrested Bibekananda Biswal alias Biban, the prime accused in the sensational 1999 gangrape case, on February 22 from Lonavala in Pune.
In the first week of March, the CBI had taken Biban to Barang, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, for recreating the crime scene. Biban was also questioned at the CBI office in Bhubaneswar.
