Dublin: Odisha girl Dipi Monika Toppo played her part in India’s campaign-opener of the Unpihar under-23 five-nation hockey tournament at Dublin.

Dipi Monika found the mark after half-time as India won 4-1 against hosts Ireland.

Annu and Deepika Soreng scored the first goals, while Beauty Dungdung rounded off the tally in the 47th minute to help India get off to a great start.

India will next face The Netherlands.
