Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday made two important appointments In the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) in an apparent effort to further improve the functioning of the 12th century shrine in Puri.
As per a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance department, OAS officer Debabrara Sahoo has been appointed Administrator (Development) of SJTA. He is at present posted as ADM, Ganjam.
Similarly, another OAS officer Dipti Ranjan Sethi, sub-collector of Khurda, is designated as Deputy Administrator (Revenue), SJTA, Puri in addition to his own duties, for smooth management of the landed property of the Lords situated in Khurda district, it said.
