Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday appointed IAS officer Udaya Narayan Das and Principal of Puri’s S C S(Autonomous) College Mihir Prasad Mishra as members of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC).
Das is currently serving as Director of Census Operations.
These appointments are for a term of six years from the date they assumes office or until he attains the age of sixty-two years, whichever is earlier, the notification issued by the General Administration department said.
Similarly, Sudhakar Burgi, retied IAS officer, and Dr Shruti Das, former professor in Department of English of Berhampur University, have been appointed as members of Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC). These appointments are for a term of five years from the date they taking charge of the post or till they attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier, the notification added.
