Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Sunday kept the transfer of IAS officers Nikunja Dhal and Bishnupada Sethi to new departments in abeyance.
While 1993 batch IAS officer Nikunja Dhal was appointed as principal secretary to Energy department, the 1995 batch IAS officer Bishnupada Sethi was shifted as principal secretary to Revenue & Disaster Management in a recent minor bureaucratic reshuffle of the Government.
However, in today’s notification, the General Administration and Public Grievances department has stated that their appointment has been kept in abeyance until further orders in view of the approaching cyclone Amphan.
