Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday effected a minor reshuffle among senior IPS officers, transferring six officers to new positions across the state
As per a notification issued by the Home Department, the following officers have been transferred and posted to new positions:
1. Himansu Kumar Lal, IPS (RR-2003)
Presently IG of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur, has been posted as IG of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Bhubaneswar and Special Task Force (STF).
2. Satyabrat Bhoi, IPS (RR-2004)
Presently IG of Police, Northern Central Range, Talcher (with additional charge of Principal, Police Training College, Anugla), has been posted as IG of Police, Intelligence.
3. Jai Narayan Pankaj, IPS (RR-2005)
Presently IG of Police, Intelligence, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, has been posted as IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur.
4. Niti Shekhar, IPS (RR-2007)
Presently IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur, has been posted as IG of Police (Provisioning), State Police Headquarters.
5. Charan Singh Meena, IPS (RR-2009)
Presently DIG of Police, Provisioning, has been posted as DIG of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur.
6. Ashish Kumar Singh, IPS (RR-2010)
Who recently joined the Home Department after repatriation from Central Deputation, has been posted as DIG of Police, Northern Central Range, Talcher, with additional charge of Principal, Police Training College, Anugola.
