Bhubaneswar: Ahead of Rath Yatra, the Odisha government on Thursday effected a major reshuffle in OPS (Odisha Police Service) and OPS (JB) cadres, transferring 79 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP)-rank officers across various districts and departments.
Several officers posted with Vigilance, SIW, Intelligence, and Commissionerate wings have been appointed as SDPOs, DSP (PCR Cell), DSP (Traffic), and DSP (Cyber PS). Sudhansu Bhusan Jena has been posted as DSP, City Bhadrak, Manoj Kumar Behera as Laxmipur SDPO, and Rajanikanta Samal to Kamakshyanagar SDPO.
Several postings have also been made to IUCAW, Cyber PS, PCR Cells, and Special Branch.
