Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has assigned additional responsibility for senior IAS officer Suresh Kumar Vashishth following the retirement of Surendra Kumar from service on Tuesday.
According to an official notification, 1998-batch IAS officer Vashishth, who is Principal Secretary, SSEPD Department, will hold additional charge as Principal Secretary, in the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department and the Parliamentary Affairs Department.
The order was issued consequent upon the retirement of Surendra Kumar from government service.
The notification, issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department, states that Vashishth is permitted to remain in additional charge of the two key departments.
