Odisha In Cold Wave Grip: 15 Places Record Less Than 15 Degree Celsius
Bhubaneswar: At least 15 places recorded less than 15 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours the entire Odisha continued to remain under the grip of cold wave.
According to the Regional Meteorological Centre here, cold wave condition is likely to intensify as the night and day temperatures are expected to fall by a few degrees, especially in the interior areas, in coming days.
Phulbani was the coldest place of the state registering minimum temperature of 9.5 degree Celsius on Tuesday.

Koraput 11.6
Jharsuguda 12.6
Malkangiri 13

The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded 15.8 and 17.6 degree respectively.
In its mid-day bulletin, the Met office said dense to very dense fog occurred at one or two places in Jagatsinghpur, Boudh and Rayagada. Shallow to moderate fog occurred at one or two places in Bhadrak, Cuttack and Nayagarh districts.
It forecast that dry weather is likely to prevail over all districts during next five days. However, shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in the early morning over the districts of Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Koraput and Nabarangpur today.
Meanwhile, the office of the Special Relief Commissioner has issued an advisory in view of the dense fog alert. It has directed district officials as well as police and transport officials to closely monitor the movement of vehicles during the foggy condition.
