Bhubaneswar: Pea-puns flooded Twitter after Odisha IPS officer Arun Bothra shared a picture of his handbag, which he was asked to open at the security check of the airport while heading back from a recent trip in Rajasthan’s Jaipur.
To everyone’s surprise, the bag was filled was green peas.
A 1996-batch IPS officer, he is now serving as the Chief Managing Director CMD of Odisha State Road Transport Corporation.
Taking to his official Twitter handle on Wednesday, he shared the picture and wrote: “Security staff at Jaipur airport asked to open my handbag.”

Replying to his tweet, IAS officer Priyanka Shukla wrote: “‘Mutter’ of grave concern.” “That’s a pea-tiful situation,” another user wrote.
