Odisha: Ispat Express Extended Up To Kantabanji; Inaugural Run Tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railway on Monday announced extension of Ispat Express (12871/12872 Howrah-Titilagarh-Howrah) up to Kantabanji from April 12.
Balangir MP Sangeeta Singhdeo will flag off of the extension of Ispat Express to Kantabanji from Kantabanji railway station.
The train will run four days a week. On the inaugural run of the extended portion, the train will leave from Kantabanji at 10 am as a Special Train and reach Howrah at 11.30 pm.
On the way, the train will leave Titilagarh at 10.55 am, Balangir at 11.50 am, Bargarh Road at 12.54 pm, Sambalpur at 1.55 pm, Jharsuguda at 2.50 pm, Rourkela at 4.43 pm, Tata at 7.15 pm, Ghatsila at 8.20 pm, Kharagpur at 8.56 om towards Howrah.
The train will also stop at Sainthala, Loisinga, Barpali, Hirakud, Rengali, Rajgangpur, Manoharpur, Chakradharpur, Rajkharsuan, Sini, Rakha Mines, Chakulia, Jhargram and Santragachhi.
However, the regular services will commence from April 14 from Howrah every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. From April 15, the train will run from Kantabanji on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
From April 16 to August 13, the train will run from Howrah on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday and will run up to Titilagarh and will originate from Titilagarh on every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday from April 17 to August 14.
12871/12872 Howrah-Titilagarh-Kantabanji-Howrah Ispat Express will be renumbered as 22861/22862 from August 16 from Howrah.
22861/22862 Howrah-Titilagarh-Kantabanji-Howrah Ispat Express from Howrah will run on every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday and from Kantabanji on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.
12871/12872 Howrah-Titilagarh-Howrah Ispat Express from Howrah will run from August 15 on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday instead of daily. This train from Titilagarh from August 16 will run on every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday instead of daily.
