Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported the highest-ever single-day COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday as 35 patients succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours.

Khurda and Angul have reported the highest fatalities of five each followed by Nabarangpur (4), Sundargarh (4), Kendrapada (3), Jharsuguda (2), Kalahandi (2), Koraput (2), Boudh (1), Bhadrak (1), Cuttack (1), Ganjam (1), Jagatsinghpur (1), Keonjhar (1), Nayagarh (1), Rayagada (1). 23 among the deceased were without any comobidities.

The deceased have been identified as:

1.A 58 years old male of Angul district.
2.A 37 years old male of Angul district.
3.A 80 years old male of Angul district.
4.A 57 years old female of Angul district.
5.A 91 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
6.A 71 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
7.A 60 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
8.A 45 years old female of Bhubaneswar.
9.A 42 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus. 10.A 47 years old male of Bhadrak district.
11.A 68 years old male of Boudh district.
12.A 20 years old male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Renal Transplant.
13.A 65 years old female of Ganjam district.
14.A 47 years old male of Jagatsinghpur district.
15.A 34 years old female of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
16.A 56 years old male of Jharsuguda district who was also suffering from Hypertension.
17.A 51 years old male of Kalahandi district.
18.A 48 years old male of Kalahandi district.
19.A 60 years old female of Kendrapada district.
20.A 55 years old female of Kendrapada district.
21.A 88 years old female of Kendrapada district.
22.A 77 years old male of Keonjhar district who was also suffering from Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
23.A 28 years old male of Khurda district.
24.A 36 years old male of Koraput district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
25.A 45 years old female of Koraput district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
26.A 38 years old male of Nabarangapur district.
27.A 67 years old male of Nabarangapur district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
28.A 45 years old female of Nabarangapur district.
29.A 25 years old female of Nabarangapur district.
30.A 73 years old female of Nayagarh district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Chronic Liver Disease, Hypertension & Cerebrovascular Accident.
31.A 42 years old female of Rayagada district.
32.A 61 years old male of Sundargarh district.
33.A 65 years old female of Sundargarh district.
34.A 65 years old male of Sundargarh district.

35.A 48 years old male of Sundargarh district.

With this, the toll is Odisha has mounted to 2584.
