Odisha Map Made From Scrap By ITI-Berhampur Students Adorns Engg School Square

Berhampur: A 28 ft X 24 ft map of Odisha made out of 4 tonnes of scrap, designed and developed by the students of Government ITI, Berhampur, was installed on Local Self Govt Day at Engineering School Square here on Tuesday.
This is the largest scrap sculpture in the country and steps are being taken to place it in the Asia Book of Records.
Fitter welder trade students of ITI Berhampur with help from their teachers made this wonderful sculpture for the first time outside the campus.
BMC provided the cost of the raw material.
The staff and students are excited that their product has been put up at the city square
“We can provide more such products for the city if we are asked to do so,” said Dr Rajat Kumar Panigrahy, Principal, ITI Berhampur.
