Bhubaneswar: Sukinda MLA Pritiranjan Gharai (Danny) tied the knot with Bengali actress Jhilik Bhattacharjee in a private ceremony on Wednesday.
The Ollywood actress posted pictures of the wedding on her instagram handle and wrote: “We seek everyone’s blessings and prayers for our newly married life. Jai Jagannath.”
Pritiranjan is the son of former Odisha minister Prafulla Chandra Ghadai and he had successfully contested the 2019 Assembly polls from Sukinda constituency on BJD ticket.
Jhilik had made her debut in Ollywood with the movie Target opposite Amlan in 2013. She has been part of several superhit Odia films, including Akhire Akhire, Lekhu Lekhu Lekhi Deli, Jaga Hatare Pagha, Super Michhua and Agastya.
The pictures the wedding surfaced on social media has been creating quite a buzz.
According to sources, the ceremony took place at a restaurant in Chilika.
