Bhubaneswar: Jajpur MLA and Organisational Secretary Of BJD Pranab Prakash Das and Congress whip and Jeypore MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati have made it to the list of ‘50 Best Legislators’ across the country in Fame India Magazine.
The two MLAs from Odisha were shortlisted from 3,958 candidates across the country based on a complex selection process mainly employing stake-hold, online survey, and data analysis survey techniques.
According to the information provided in the article, the online survey process skimmed out 1500 candidates from which 150 qualified to the last round by the stake-hold survey. The top 50 were picked through data analysis.
Instead of ordered rankings, the survey was based on factors like working style, commitment, influence, popularity, public engagement, presence, powerful proposals. Also, public opinion and data available from social media were used.
Bahinipati was picked in the category ‘communicative capability’ and Das was picked in the category for ‘intentions’, the list published on August 12 said.
