Bhubaneswar: IT sector giant Accenture recently elevated Nandita Sahu, a native of Odisha, as Managing Director. She has been associated with the organisation for over 2 years and served as an associate director prior to this appointment.
Confirming the development on social media, she said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Managing Director at Accenture!”
An alumna of DAV Public School in Bhubaneswar, Nandita did her bachelor’s in computer science from the Institute of Technical Education & Research, Siksha O’ Anusandhan University. She continued her studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
Earlier, she worked with Mphasis for over 13 years and climbed up the ladder to serve as Delivery Group Manager. In this role, she managed the end-to-end delivery of application development and maintenance services in the Agile Delivery framework for a large telecom in Germany. She was associated with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as Project Lead. In this role, she worked with a major client in the BFS domain for TCS – Toyota Financial Services from 2003 to 2006.
Additionally, she has worked in a client-facing role at Toyota Headquarters, Torrance, California, and was responsible for identifying enhancement opportunities, driving business initiatives, onsite-offshore coordination, and increasing TCS’ footprint in a multi-vendor environment.
