Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has no proposal to merge its KALIA (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation) scheme with the PM Kisan Yojana.
Announcing this in the State Assembly on Wednesday, Agriculture minister Arun Kumar Sahu said that the state government will provide a total of Rs 10,000 to eligible farmers — Rs 6000 from PM Kisan Yojana and Rs 4000 from the KALIA scheme.
“The farmers will be provided with Rs 6000 under the PM Kisan Yojana in three instalments while the farmers who have received Rs 6000 earlier will be provided Rs 4000,” he added.
