A total of 8,000 teachers have been appointed for the initial phase of evaluation from April 2 to April 14 during which they will check the answer sheets in their respective districts in view of the heatwave. Second stage of evaluation will be conducted April 16 to April 28 by another 8,000 teachers.

CHSE examination controller Prashant Kumar Parida said that the evaluation process will be closely monitored to ensure fairness and accuracy.

A total of 3,93,618 students, including 2,47,391 in arts, 1,14,980 in science, 25,826 in commerce and 5,721 in vocational education, appeared for the Annual Higher Secondary Examination 2025 in 1,276 examination centres across the state from February 18 to March 27.

The Council had then said that efforts will be made to declare the result within 45 days after the exams are over.
