Bhubaneswar: The Union government has praised the efforts of Odisha Police in conducting a successful operation in Kandhamal.
In a letter to the Chief Secretary and DGP, Odisha, the Union Home Secretary complimented the team of officers and Odisha Police personnel for a recent operation in Kandhamal in which they eliminated 4 activists of Left Wing Extremism (LWE).

The Union Home Secretary pointed out that Odisha Police had conducted the operation in a professional manner, without any casualty. He also appreciated the work of Odisha LWE intelligence unit and Specialised anti-maoist force, that is, SOG.
