The police have been actively looking into the matter so as to catch hold of anyone drink-driving or creating nuisance in an inebriated state.
Some cases, however, have gone unnoticed as mentioned by a Twitterati.
Reported one case last week. No response from @bbsrctcpolice or from @DCP_CUTTACK . Brought to your notice but no response. Why do you want citizens to report if you do not respond ? How did PCR van miss open drinking at Trisulia square near the IMFL outlet?

Odisha Police, like the superman, said the case has been taken into consideration and action will be taken very soon.

There were other suggestive comments along with some appreciating the initiative. Hopefully, with prompt action from Odisha police in such cases, the state will soon become a clean and sane place for those wanting to live in peace.
