Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a marginal fall in daily COVID caseload as 521 more people, including 65 in the age group of 0-18 years, tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 615 cases on Wednesday, 529 on Tuesday, 448 on Monday, and 652 on Sunday.
According to the I & PR department, 304 of the new infections are from quarantine and 217 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest of 249 cases (47.79%) followed by Cuttack at 60. Nil cases have been reported from five districts.

With these cases being detected from 64,377 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.81%. The TPR was at 0.98% on Wednesday, 0.94% on Tuesday, 0.70% on Monday, and 0.97% on Sunday.
While the affected tally has touched 1033809, Odisha now has 5,314 active cases.
