Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha climbed to 7,086 on Wednesday with 65 more deaths being confirmed in the past 24 hours.

The list of daily fatalities includes past deaths for which an audit was done and the cause identified as COVID, the Health Department said.

Odisha has so far seen 1,184 deaths due to the disease this month.

While May reported 660 deaths, the number swelled to 1,272 in June and it rose further to 1,884 in July.

Among the new casualties, Cuttack district saw the highest of 15 deaths, followed by 11 from Jagatsinghpur, 9 from Kendrapada,7 from Dhenkanal, 5 each from Angul and Balasore, 3 each from Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj, 2 from Puri and 1 each from Bhubaneswar, Ganjam, Keonjhar, Koraput and Nayagarh.

The deceased were identified as:

1.A 52 years old female of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

2.A 55 years old female of Angul District.

3.A 35 years old male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

4.A 45 years old female of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Acute Kidney Infection & Hepatopathy.

5.A 63 years old male of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus and Asthma.

6.A 41 years old male of Balasore District.

7.A 67 years old male of Balasore District.

8.A 47 years old male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

9.A 55 years old female of Balasore District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Diabetes Mellitus.

10.A 42 years old female of Balasore District who was also suffering from Intestinal Obstruction.

11.A 80 years old male of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Asthma.

12.A 70 years old male of Bhadrak District.

13.A 62 years old female of Bhadrak District who was also suffering from Hypothyroidism & Chronic Kidney Disease.

14.A 67 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Cerebro Vascular Accident, Coronary Artery Disease & Metabolic encephalopathy.

15.A 58 years old male of Cuttack District.

16.A 85 years old male of Cuttack District.

17.A 87 years old male of Cuttack District.

18.A 40 years old female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Rheumatic heart disease.

19.A 48 years old male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

20.A 80 years old female of Cuttack District.

21.A 72 years old female of Cuttack District.

22.A 55 years old male of Cuttack District.

23.A 35 years old male of Cuttack District.

24.A 75 years old male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Cerebro Vascular Accident.

25.A 75 years old male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Acute Kidney Infection.

26.A 80 years old male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Cerebro Vascular Accident.

27.A 40 years old female of Cuttack District.

28.A 50 years old male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

29.A 80 years old male of Cuttack District.

30.A 46 years old female of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

31.A 21 years old female of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

32.A 42 years old male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

33.A 48 years old male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Asthma.

34.A 20 years old female of Dhenkanal District.

35.A 45 years old male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Chronic Bronchitis.

36.A 40 years old male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease, Hyperthyroidism, Upper Gastrointestinal Series Bleed and Metabolic Encephalopathy.

37.A 47 years old male of Ganjam District.

38.A 51 years old male of Jagatsinghpur District.

39.A 60 years old male of Jagatsinghpur District.

40.A 63 years old male of Jagatsinghpur District.

41.A 45 years old female of Jagatsinghpur District.

42.A 38 years old male of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

43.A 65 years old male of Jagatsinghpur District.

44.A 29 years old female of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Hypothyroidism.

45.A 72 years old male of Jagatsinghpur District.

46.A 45 years old female of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

47.A 72 years old female of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

48.A 40 years old male of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

49.A 39 years old female of Kendrapada District.

50.A 61 years old female of Kendrapada District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

51.A 72 years old male of Kendrapada District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease.

52.A 70 years old male of Kendrapada District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Diabetes Mellitus.

53.A 42 years old male of Kendrapada District.
