Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha climbed to 7,154 on Thursday with 68 more deaths being confirmed in the past 24 hours.

The list of daily fatalities includes past deaths for which an audit was done and the cause identified as COVID, the Health Department said.

Odisha has so far seen 1,252 deaths due to the disease this month.

While May reported 660 deaths, the number swelled to 1,272 in June and it rose further to 1,884 in July.

While 604 in the age group of 0-18 years have been infected in the last five days, among the COVID deaths confirmed in the last 24 hours is a one-month-old baby girl of Cuttack district.

Cuttack saw the highest of 18, followed by 10 from Jagatsinghpur, 7 from Khurda (1 from Bhubaneswar),  6 from Dhenkanal, 5 each from Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj, 4 from Angul, 3 each from Balasore, Jajpur and Kendrapada, 2 from Ganjam, and 1 each from Nayagarh and Sundargarh.

The deceased have been identified as:

1.A 37 years old of Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

2.A 70 years old of Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

3.A 36 years old of Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

4.A 21 years old of Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Sickle Cell Disease.

5.A 32 years old of Male of Balasore District.

6.A 73 years old of Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus & Cerebro Vascular Accident.

7.A 58 years old of Male of Balasore District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Stroke.

8.A 42 years old of Female of Bhadrak District.

9.A 55 years old of Female of Bhadrak District.

10.A 35 years old of Male of Bhadrak District.

11.A 45 years old of Female of Bhadrak District.

12.A 29 years old of Female of Bhadrak District.

13.A 55 years old of Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

14.A 82 years old of Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Acute Kidney Infection.

15.A 64 years old of Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Hypertension & Diabetes Mellitus.

16.A 53 years old of Male of Cuttack District.

17.A 80 years old of Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Coronary Artery Disease & Diabetes Mellitus.

18.A 65 years old of Female of Cuttack District.

19.A 42 years old of Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Asthma & Diabetes Mellitus.

20.A 48 years old of Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

21.A 69 years old of Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Cerebro Vascular Accident.

22.A 46 years old of Male of Cuttack District.

23.A 45 years old of Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

24.A 65 years old of Male of Cuttack District.

25.A 66 years old of Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kidney Disease.

27.A 58 years old of Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Cerebro Vascular Accident, Hypertension & Diabetes Mellitus.

28.A 1-month-old of baby girl of Cuttack District.

29.A 60 years old of Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

30.A 42 years old of Female of Cuttack District.

31.A 82 years old of Female of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

32.A 74 years old of Male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

33.A 45 years old of Male of Dhenkanal District.

34.A 55 years old of Male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Acute Kidney Infection & Hepatopathy.

35.A 55 years old of Male of Dhenkanal District.

36.A 80 years old of Female of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

37.A 78 years old of Male of Dhenkanal District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

38.A 42 years old of Female of Ganjam District who was also suffering from Nephrotic Syndrome & Anemia.

39.A 60 years old of Female of Ganjam District.

40.A 65 years old of Female of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

41.A 55 years old of Female of Jagatsinghpur District.

42.A 55 years old of Male of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
