Bhubaneswar: Odisha sprinters had a fruitful day at the Asian Athletics Championships 2025.
After Animesh Kujur claimed bronze medal in men’s 200m with a national record, Srabani Nanda did the state proud by earning silver in the women’s 4x100m relay event on Saturday at South Korea’s Gumi.
Srabani ran the first leg, followed by SS Sneha, Abinaya Rajarajan and Nithya Gandhe. The Indian quartet clocked 43.86 seconds.
The Chinese quartet beat Indians to the gold, crossing the finishing line in 43.28 seconds. Thailand came in third, in 44.26 seconds.

Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated Srabani and the other team members.
