Bhubaneswar: The Special Relief Commissioner’s office has issued an advisory for controlled plying of vehicles on the highways to avoid any road accident in view of the dense fog warning issued by India Meteorological Department.
The IMD has issued yellow warning for dense fog which is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Boudh, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Puri and Kalahandi.
Accordingly, the SRC asked the police and transport officials concerned of respective districts to take necessary steps.
The IMD stated in its bulletin cold wave condition prevails at one or two places over the district of Jharsuguda of North Interior Odisha.
