Odisha To Experience Rain, Thunderstorm & Squall In Next 4 Days; Check IMD Forecast
Bhubaneswar: While Odisha is likely to experience light to moderate rain till May 6, the regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued yellow warning for thunderstorm/lightning for several districts, including Khurda and Cuttack, for the next four days.
However, there will be no large change in the maximum temperature during the next four to five days, it added.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and
Thunderstorm with lightning is also likely to occur at one or two places in Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Angul and Dhenkanal.
Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is very likely to occur at a few places in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal and at one or two places in the rest of Odisha.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.
Thunderstorm with lightning is also likely at one or two places in Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh and Deogarh.
Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is very likely at a few places in North Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and at one or two places in the remaining districts of the state.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places in Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada.
Thunderstorm with lightning is also likely at one or two places in Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Nuapada.
A few places in coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur and one or two places in the rest of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rain/thunderstorm.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Puri, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati and Ganjam.
Light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is very likely to occur at a few places in coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Angul, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri and at one or two places in the rest districts of Odisha.
