Flats, Bldg & Plots Unearthed In Bhubaneswar During Vigilance Raid On Additional Civil Supplies Officer

Bhubaneswar: The Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday unearthed two 3-BHK flats, a building, 3 plots, investments in insurance policies worth over Rs.16.86 lakh, 200 gram gold and a Honda City car worth worth Rs 13.19 lakh along with other assets during simultaneous raids on the residence and office of Bhanjanagar Additional Civil Supplies Officer Sanjay Kumar Sahu.

The raids are being conducted at seven places in Khurda, Ganjam and Mayurbhanj districts, including his office room and rented house at Bhanjanagar and native village Pandarsila, on allegation of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

ASSETS UNEARTHED

1. 3-BHK Flat No.601, 6th floor, Khetrabasi Residency and K&K-Plaza, Patia-22, Bhubaneswar.

2. 3-BHK Flat No.304, Block-G at De-Habitat-2, Shree Vihar, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.

3. One building at Housing board, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.

4. 3 Plots in and around, Bhubaneswar.
i) 1 plot vide No.1782, Khata No.26, Mauza-Naharkanta, Bhubaneswar.
ii) 1 plot vide No.1781, Khata No.26, Mauza-Naharkanta, Bhubaneswar.
iii) 1 plot vide No.222/625, Khata No.272/4, Mauza-Saradeipur, Khurdha.

The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above flats/building/plots is being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing, an official release said.

Sahu earlier served as Assistant Civil Supply Officer of Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district, it added.
