Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Saturday unearthed huge assets, including a multi-storeyed building, two high-value flats and 11 plots, during raids at sites linked to Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) N Dillip Kumar Choudhury.
Searches are underway in at least four locations of Choudhury, posted as AEE, R & B Division -1, Berhampur, by Vigilance led by 3 DSsP, 7 Inspectors, and other supporting staff on the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
During house searches so far, the following assets have been unearthed in the name of Choudhury and his family members;
1. One double storeyed building with area 2400 Sqft. at Mayuree Vihar, Berhampur.
2. One 3-BHK flat vide No.301 with area 1400 Sqft. at Evos Exotica Apartment, Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
3. One 2-BHK flat vide No.409 with area 1000 Sqft. at Spectrum Royale, Dharma Nagar, Berhampur.
4. 11 nos. of plots at Berhampur and nearby areas. Details as under:
i) A piece of land vide plot No.653 & 655, Khata No.283/135 with area Ac.0.050 dcml. at Sankarpur, Berhampur.
ii) A piece of land vide plot No.418, Khata No.516/1211 with area Ac.0.035 dcml at Lathi mauza, Berhampur.
iii) A piece of land vide plot No.655, Khata No.283/135 with area Ac.0.030 dcml at Sankarpur, Berhampur.
iv) A piece of land vide plot No.484/2892 & 424/3024, Khata No.516/516 & 16/649 with area Ac.0.041 dcml at Lathi mauza, Berhampur.
v) A piece of land vide plot No.417, Khata No.267 with area Ac.0.062 dcml at Lathi mauza, Berhampur.
vi) A piece of land vide plot No.672/3853, Khata No.220/3088 with area Ac.0.092 dcml at Ambagada, Berhampur.
vii) A piece of land vide plot No.984/2807, Khata No.253/1802 with area Ac.0.103 dcml at Dakshinpur, Berhampur.
viii) A piece of land vide plot No.129/1951, Khata No.114/1888 with area Ac.0.104 dcml at Ratnapur, Kukudakhandi, Ganjam.
ix) A piece of land vide plot No.129/460, Khata No.114/56 with area Ac.0.073 dcml at Ratnapur, Berhampur.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of the above building/flats/ plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing.
5. Bank and other deposits, investments etc. are being ascertained.
