Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported over 200 new COVID-19 cases for the third consecutive day on Saturday.
The daily caseload, however, dropped from 234 the previous day to 210. The state had crossed the 200-mark after a gap of almost two months on Thursday after 214 people tested positive for the virus.
According to the I & PR Department, fresh cases have been reported from 21 districts.
Among them, 124 are from quarantine centres and 86 local contact cases.
Khurda district has reported the highest of 51 followed by Nuapada district (23) and Cuttack district (19).

With this, Odisha now has 1,449 active cases.
The Health Department sources also confirmed the death of one more person due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, which took the toll in the state to 1920.
