Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported over 500 new COVID-19 cases for the second day in a row on Tuesday with 588 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 573 new infections the previous day.
According to the Health Department sources, these fresh cases have been reported from 27 districts.
Among them, 342 are quarantine and 246 local contact cases.
Khurda has reported the highest of 105 cases followed by Sundargarh (84), Jhursuguda (31) and Cuttack (30)

With this, the number of active cases in Odisha has mounted to 3731.
