Dhenkanal: The COVID-19 tally in Dhenkanal district surged to 667 on Monday with a record high of 107 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
Of these, an overwhelming majority of 90 cases were reported from Bhuban NAC.
The district administration said the new patients included 93 in home quarantine, four in institutional quarantine and three were local contacts. Besides, seven patients were shifted to hospitals.
Dhenkanal district has reported one COVID-19 death and 351 recoveries so far. It has 315 active cases at present.
