Odisha’s SAI International Conducts Collaborative Learning On Virtual Platform With Schools Across Globe

Bhubaneswar: Continuing with its focus on internationalism, students and teachers of SAI International School and SAI International Residential School (SIRS) are conducting regular virtual meetings with their counterparts at Round Square Partner Schools, across the globe.

Weekly meetings are being organised regularly with Junior and Senior High School of Kogakuin University, Tokyo, Japan and Taibah International School, Uganda. Collaborative learning has also been initiated with Shirakatsy Lyceum, Armenia and with schools from Israel and Chile in the near future.

Discussions with the Japanese school included making No Stitch Masks to the global impact of the pandemic and even the cuisine of both the countries. 

In the interaction with students from Uganda, the latter demonstrated three traditional musical instruments – Tubefiddle, Windpipes and Boharp. They also played an amazing African song with the instruments. 

Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia to India, Ashot Alikhanyan, Principal, Tatevik Nalbandyan, Head of High School and Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder SAI International joined the interaction with the school from Armenia. Children shared their views on the benefits and drawbacks of online classes. Students from all the three schools shared that though online education is good, they miss the physical presence of friends and teachers.
