Odisha’s Sundargarh Reports Highest Single-Day Spike Of 83 COVID Cases, 15 From BPUT-Rourkela
Sundargarh: Sundargarh district reported the highest single-day spike of 83 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the affected tally in the district to 554 on Thursday.
Among the fresh 83 cases, 15 are from BPUT, Rourkela.
According to the district administration, two of the new patients are currently at Bhubaneswar COVID hospital, two are local contacts, 23 had the travel history, 22 are contacts of previous positive cases, three COVID warriors from Sundargarh, four COVID warriors working at BPUT, Rourkela, 14 are from TMC Sundargarh (contacts of previous positive)and three are pregnant women.

Details of the new cases:
With one death and 185 recoveries, Sundargarh district has 368 active cases at present.
