New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the BJP’s manifesto or ‘Sankalp Patra’, with the tagline “Modi ki Guarantee” on Sunday (April 14), coinciding with the birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution.

Highlighting his government’s achievements and his vision, Modi said, “The entire country waits for the BJP’s ‘Sankalp Patra’. There is a big reason behind it as in the last 10 years, the BJP has implemented every point of its manifesto as a guarantee on the ground. This ‘Sankalp Patra’ empowers all the 4 strong pillars of developed India- Youth, women, poor and farmers…”

Modi said the he wants to make India global hub of all emerging sectors – green energy, pharma, electronics, automobile, semiconductor, innovation, legal insurance, contracting and commercial.

“Work will begin immediately after the June 4 results. The government has already started working on the 100-day action plan. The ambition of the people of the country is Modi’s mission. We saw the success of Chandrayaan. Now we will experience the pride of Gaganyaan. We just saw India welcoming the world to the G20 and now we will make all efforts to host the Olympics,” he said.

>> Focus on enhancing India’s infrastructure. “BJP is going to strengthen the foundation of India of the 21st century through three kinds of infrastructure – 1) social infrastructure, 2) digital infrastructure, 3) physical infrastructure. We are opening new educational institutions for social infrastructure…Under physical infrastructure, we are modernising highways, railways, airways, and waterways across the country. Under digital infrastructure, we are expanding the 5G network, working on 6G and keeping Industry 4.0 in mind we are building the digital infrastructure.”

>> Vande Sleeper trains by 2030 & Bullet Train Corridors in North, South and East India. “BJP will also expand Vande Bharat trains to every corner of the country. 3 models of Vande Bharat will run in the country – Vande Bharat Sleeper, Vande Bharat Chaircar and Vande Bharat Metro. Today the work of the Ahmedabad Mumbai Bullet Train is going on in full swing and is almost reaching completion. In the same way, one Bullet Train will run in North India, one Bullet Train in South India and one Bullet Train in Eastern India. Survey work for this will also be started soon.”

>> The BJP pledges to enact the Nyaya Sanhita nationwide

>> ‘One Nation, One Election’ and ‘Common Electoral Roll’. “We will move forward with a resolve to realise the idea of One Nation, One Election. BJP also considers the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) equally necessary in the interest of the country.”

>> The BJP will work towards reducing the electricity bills of crores of families to zero by expanding PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana.

>> Free ration scheme under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana to continue for the next 5 years

>> Benefits under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi to continue for the 10 crore farmers. “Rashtriya Sahkariti Niti” to be introduced to make India a global nutrition hub with a focus on millet.”…The benefits under PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi will continue for the 10 crore farmers of the country even in the time to come. With the vision of ‘Sahkarita Se Samriddhi’, the BJP will introduce ‘Rashtriya Sahkarita Niti’. Through this, we are going to advance in a revolutionary direction…To make India the global nutrition hub, we are going to put a lot of emphasis on ‘Shree Anna’…”

>> It would now focus on providing gas connections to all houses in the country and construct 30 million new homes.

>> New Jan Aushadhi Kendras would be opened. “The biggest concern of the elderly is how they will afford treatment of their ailments. This concern is even more serious for the middle class. BJP has now taken the ‘Sankalp’ that every individual above 70 years of age will be brought under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.”

>> Transgender individuals to also be brought under the ambit of Ayushman Bharat scheme. The network of Garima Grahas will be expanded to uplift the transgender community, alongside issuing identity cards for their recognition nationwide.

>> MUDRA Yojana loan cap to increase to Rs 20 lakh from Rs 10 lakh. “I am confident that this will be used as a new strength towards building the kind of ecosystem that is required for the era of Industry 4.0.”

>> The forthcoming five years will prioritise women’s participation and contributions. They will receive training in IT, tourism, education, healthcare, and retail sectors. Rural women will also have the opportunity to train as drone pilots through the NaMo Drone Didi Yojana.

>> Three crore women self help groups.

>> An Anusandhan Fund will be established with a 1 lakh crore rupee investment to promote scientific research.

>> 740 Eklavya Model Residential Schools will be established to prioritize the education of tribal children, with efforts to expedite the construction and operation of remaining schools.

>> Strict implementation of paper leak law.

>> Implementation of ‘One Nation, One Student ID’ through the Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry (APAAR)

>> Encourage research on tribal heritage with the year 2025 declared as Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh, marking the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda. “Digital Janjatiya Kala Academy will be established.”

The BJD also said that it will continue its effective efforts to establish peace in the North-East and phase out the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act. “We will continue our efforts to address the issues in the disturbed areas and remove AFSPA in a phased manner. We will further work towards the resolution of inter-state border disputes amongst Northeastern states through sustained efforts,” according to its manifesto.

Ramayan Utsav with be celebrated great fervour across the globe to commemorate the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla. “”Ramayan is celebrated across the world, particularly in South and South-East Asia. We will launch a global outreach program for documenting and promoting the tangible and intangible legacy of Lord Ram in all countries.”
