Kanpur: A clash between two communities left a 25-year-old youth dead and several injured. It reportedly started over water being splashed on one of them and soon snowballed into stone pelting on Monday, The New Indian Express (TNIE) quoted police as saying.
Police personnel, including the Provincial Armed Constabulary, have been deployed to keep a check on the simmering tension at Chakeri locality after the incident that took place late on Sunday evening.
